Tony Bose Custom Knife Dogs Head Trapper Slipjoint

This Dogs Head Trapper was made by Tony Bose for the 2008 Blade show. It features "roofline" or "tiled" jigging on the bone, whereby the bone is first cut with " steps " up to the center from both the top and bottom edges, then it is jigged , leaving a nice ridge or spine along the middle of each scale as were the originals that were made famous by Kabar. Kabar's Dogs Head trappers are as legendary and as big as the Remington Bullet trappers of the same era. The bone jigging is spectacular. These knives are flush jointed as well. A spectacular job at that. Difficult to achieve. This knife will be a highlight of any Bose collection.
