The "cracked earth" pattern on the titanium handles and the "scallops" on the faux copper bolsters are hand carved by the maker. The "bamboo" backspacer is hand carved from a solid piece of copper with fine detail and signed be Sergey on the underside. All patina and finishes on this knife are hand applied, it is not simply anodized. The blade is hand ground.
