It features John W. Smith's sole authorship Damascus blade and bolsters. It has 24 Kt Gold inlays in the bolsters, fileworked backbar and liners. The thumbstud has a diamond set in 18 Kt Gold. The scales are Blacklip Pearl filed in a diamond pattern with 18 Kt gold screws.
John W. Smith is one of a select few makers who does it all from forging his own Damascus to doing his own inlays and engraving. The spine and blade of the knife has 24 Kt Gold inlays. John has inlaid "Smith" in 24 Kt Gold on the choil of the blade.
