This "Persian Delight" is an example of Jerry Corbit very best work. It starts with Devin Thomas rain drop Damascus for the blade and bolsters that is hot blued to perfection and inlaid with 18Kt gold wire. The mother of pearl scales have amazing depth and are hand carved, then inlaid with 14Kt gold pins. The handle screws are 14Kt gold as is the thumb stud. There are a total of 29 citrine gem stones inset in 18Kt gold bezel mounts in the thumb stud, the screws on both scales, the back spacer, and even the inside of the back spacer. The back spacer is Jerry's signature style with mother of pearl blocks but taken to another level framing the stainless steel "panels" that are each inset with 3 stones and engraved by Bruce Shaw. Again, the same level of detail is seen on the inside of the back spacer. As a finishing touch, the fine titanium liners are fully file worked to the highest level of execution possible.
