H.H. Frank Custom Knife 1982 Sole Authorship Engraved 14 Kt Gold & Mother of Pearl Shell Lockback Dagger with 14 Kt gold Toothpick

This H.H. Frank was made in November 1982. It's liners and bolsters are 14 Kt gold. The scales are Mother of Pearl shell held to the liners with 14 Kt gold pins. There are two oval 14Kt inlays in the pearl also held with 14Kt gold pins. A 14Kt gold toothpick is in the end of the handle. The 14Kt gold bolsters are engraved in relief in a scroll pattern. The blade has a 24Kt gold line inlaid along each side. The engraving of the blade is also in relief but in a fine scroll pattern. There is a flower engraved with a 14 Kt gold center along the spine as well as a flower engraved on the inside of the spine. H. H. Frank has applied a "French Grey" finish to the blade to show off the engraving and the gold also to help prevent rust. The entire knife has been made by hand.
