This subhilt fighter was made by AKI member Dr. Fred Carter. Fred makes very few knives these days. The handle is creamy and warm pre-ban elephant ivory. The engraving and 24Kt Gold inlays were masterfully done by Dr. Fred Carter. As with many of his knives, this knife has been monogrammed by the original owner with a letter "M" or "W" on the butt cap of the knife, it too has been done by Dr. Fred Carter in 24Kt Gold inlays. This knife was not made with a sheath it a beauty and will be a welcome addition to any custom knife collection.
