David Broadwell Custom Knives Brian Hochstrat Engraved “Galactic Warriors” Techno Art Folder
The knife is quite complex and has been designed with a hidden screw construction. It features a David Lisch Mosaic Carbon Damascus blade and a textured and heat treated 17-4 stainless steel frame.
Brian Hotchstrat has masterfully engraved a science fantasy theme with two buxom warrior women. Both are "cyborgs", cybernetic organisms. You can see that they have been wounded and "repaired" with mechanical devices. Brian has inlaid fine gold, argentium silver, and copper to get the different colors.
This knife also features David Broadwell's Dead Bolt locking mechanism. The Dead Bolt Lock uses a spring loaded heat treated tool steel plunger like the bolt on a door lock. It holds the blade in the closed position and locks it open. The button on the left side is pulled to the rear with your thumb to unlock the blade. David's maker's mark is engraved inside the knife's back spacer.
