Dan Burke Custom Knife 2-Bladed Green Jigged Bone Slip Joint
In 1976, Dan Burke sold his first custom knife. He has become famous for his traditional style slip joint folders which have become very collectable, currently a collector will have to wait several years to obtain a Dan Burke folder.
Due to the high demand for his knives and his extremely long back log of orders, Dan is no longer accepting knife orders.
The large blade measures 2 1/8", and the small blade is 1 1/2" in length. The grooved, integral side plates have warm green jigged bone scales. Both blades have the half stop position. A real gem from a knife maker who is sold out for years and will no longer take orders for his knives. The knife has some very light marks on the reverse side of one of the blades and the price has been reduced accordingly.
Some of the above information has been paraphrased from Bud Angelo's "Great Lakes Custom Knives" Website.
