Charles Kain’s Custom Knife: Rusalka – A Dark Light Design
This collectible knife is part of Charles Kain's DarkLight Knife series. In Slavic Mythology a Rusalka was a female ghost or demon that dwelled in lakes and seduced men to a drowning death.
The grips are high layer twist pattern Damascus inlayed with blacklip pearl shell and inset with mosaic Damascus. Rusalka's blade was formed from three pieces of two different types of mosaic twisted and forged to shape. The center inset was formed from two pieces of different mosaic Damascus welded together to form a very unique pattern.
Charles' fit and finish is impeccable and the knife opens and closes silky smooth. The addition of this custom knife by Charles Kain would become an interesting focal point.
