Brian Chovanec Custom Knife “Daphne” with Padauk Wood, Bronze and Stag Horn with Ruby in Cap
Another unique and beautiful work of art from Brian Chovanec. This piece is the “Daphne”, like the flower, pretty to look at, but deadly. Features of this masterpiece are 14260 carbon spring steel blade with a mirror polish finish and engraving with gold inlay, it is of tang-through takedown construction, the steel guard/ring are of mild steel and engraved as is the pommel which is also highlighted with Bronze and stainless steel sculpted and shaped like a Daphne flower, there is a single Ruby set inside the flower pod on the pommel, the handle is Stag and the spacers are African Padauk wood, steel and gold ( …hand carved and lined leather sheath…as always, it’s 100% hand made( handheld tools mainly, most of the time unplugged) ,a true one of a kind (with no repeats guaranteed ). Another amazing beauty from this talented bladesmith.
