Bob Loveless Custom Knife Black Micarta Signature Logo New York Special Engraved by Tyler Prince with the Torch From the Statue of Liberty

This New York Special was made by Knifemaking Legend Bob Loveless in 2000.  It features his rare Signature Logo and Black Micarta scales.  Tyler Prince engraved the Statue of Liberty's Torch on the bolsters and highlighted its flames with 24Kt Gold. The original NY Special knives were made by Bob Loveless and featured at the New York Custom Knife Show in the 1970's.  Only about 10 of those were made and featured a snap in the leather sheath. This New York Special was made in 2000 when Bob Loveless decided to recreate the New York Special.  This new design is different from the original for Bob had originally destroyed the original New York Special's template.  The 2000 version also did not feature the snap in the leather sheath.
