Bill McHenry Custom Knife Dragon Engraved Knifemakers Guild Acceptance Knife
This linerlock is made by Knife legend Bill McHenry. He made this knife in 1993 for his acceptance into the Knifemakers Guild.
The Damascus blade has ambidextrous thumbstuds each one set with Sapphire. The liners are fully fileworked. Each bolster is engraved with a dragon and the backbar is fully carved inside and out. Outside is a face, two abalone inlays, and the carving turns into three dragons extending down the length of the blade. Inside Bill McHenry carved three dragons, an abalone inlay and the engraved name, number and date "McHenry 78 1993". "WM" is carved on the bottom of the blade.
The scales are very unique warthog tusk ivory. The screws are fileworked. This is an excellent example of Bill McHenry's work and would be the highlight of any knife collection.
