Bertie Rietveld is one of South Africa's Premier Custom Knife makers.
This custom knife features Bertie Rietveld's sole authorship "Dragon Scale" Damascus, sole authorship "Ladder Pattern" Damascus bolsters and Siberian Mammoth Ivory Scales. Bertie signs each of his knives with a unique "Stanhope Lenses" in the pivot. Simply look through the Stanhope and you will see his signature logo.
The "Sahara" features Bertie Rietveld's award winning "Bolster Tilt Mechanism". He was award most innovative design for this locking mechanism at the 2005 Knifemakers Guild show.
