The Chad Nichols "Black Hole" Damascus blade is opened by rotating the clip side bolster with your finger. The perfectly ground blade slams open and drops center when closed. Stan used an "I need to check my sanity finish" on the Chad Nichols "Black Hole" Damascus bolsters.
This knife features Chad Nichols "Wavepool " Timascus and is held in place with screwless screws from inside the knife. The Pivot and Clip are also Chad Nichols "Wavepool " Timascus.
