This Cobra Bolo Tie was made in the mid to late 1970's by Ron Skaggs. It is carved out of fossilized Mammoth with a Sterling Silver Frame. Ron had hand braided the leather, cut and built the sterling silver frames and carved the figure of the cobra.

Ron Skaggs focused on jewlery making, carving and scrimshaw. He made one of a kind works of art for Ducks Unlimited. He transferred his jewelry making and carving skills over to carving precious metals and steel. Today he is one of the top American Engravers.

It measures 2 1/2" at the widest width and is 3 1/4" tall.
