This solid 18Kt Gold folder was made by late great knifemakerJim Martin for Barret Smythe. The Blacklip Pearl inlays are extremely dark, deep and full of color. Even though this is a gent's folder it has an extremely heavy feel to it due to the sheer amount of 18 Kt Gold. It weighs 3.1 ounces.

Jim Martin was one of the top knifemakers of his day and he and other fine makers were commissioned by Barret Smythe to make knives for the NY city gallery. Most of Barret Smythe's knives were engraved by the top Engravers in the industry. This knife was engraved by Master Engraver Tim George.
