Shane Taylor Custom Knife Based on a Poem by Alfred Lloyd Tennyson
An extremely intelligent man once told me that the basic definition of money is "Stored Labor". When you examine this work of art by Mastersmith Shane Taylor it just screams out money!
The amount of hours of work Shane Taylor has in this knife is unthinkable. It is a complete sole authorship knife. Within the Mosaic Damascus you will see 24Kt gold inlays. Shane Taylor has carved the Mammoth Ivory Scales and has continued the carving one the back spine of the knife as well. The liners have been completely engraved.
This knife was Shane Taylor's main feature at the 2007 Blade Show and is based on the "The Lady of Shallot " poem by Alfred Tennyson.
