Ron Best’s Custom Knife: 440-C Integral Fighter with Mother of Pearl Inlays Engraved by Jere Davidson
Ron Best was awarded the W.W. Cronk award at the Knifemakers Guild Show this year. This award has been bestowed upon the following knife makers: Buster Warenski, Van Barnette, Willie Rigney, Wolfgang Loerchner, Dr. Fred Carter and Arpod Bojtos to name a few.
This integral fighter was featured in October 2007 Blade Magazine on page 103. A few months ago Ron Best was mentioned as a knifemaker to look out for in Blade Magazine as well. Once you have seen this knife it is easy to see why Ron is receiving so much attention.
The blade is hollow ground with a hand rubbed finish. Jere Davidson has elegantly engraved the frame of this masterpiece. I do not see this knife hanging around, add this beauty to your collection; before Ron Best's price and demand goes through the roof.
