Jack Levin was a master at making complicated knives. The knife has a special mechanism that allows the user to fire it as an automatic knife or dis-engage the automatic mechanism by turning a screw with a triangular head tool.

The knife does not lock like a traditional knife, it has a what Jack would call a break stop lock. This is where the knife would lock open but in order to close the knife you had to break the lock by pressing the blade past the lock.

This knife is priced to sell due to light cracks in the malachite scales.
