Dan Chinnock Custom Knife Sole Authorship Damascus & Mammoth Ivory "Red Rocker" Prototype Linerlock. This rising star has been making knives since 2003 and has been a voting member of the Knife Makers Guild since 2005. The overall quality of his knives including the fit, finish, and file work caught the eye of A. G. Russell and he is now a featured maker in the “Handmade Knives to Order” section of A. G.’s Cuttingedge.com web site. Even though knife makers typically disassemble and reassemble a knife many times during the final fitting and finishing process, Dan has developed method where the pivot in any knife his customers get has only been assembled one time. This makes for extremely smooth action when opening and closing the knife and truly solid lock up with no blade play. Dan’s knives display a level of fit, finish and overall quality that is usually only found in knives costing much more.
