Alex Gev Custom Knives Sole Authorship Engraved Mother of Pearl Interframe Lever Release.
This museum quality knife was made by Bulgarian knife maker and engraver Alex Gev. It features over 300 hours of Alex's engraving. This is the first knife in a series of knives depicting the Napoleonic Wars.
The scales are inlaid presentation grade Mother of Pearl shell with Bulino engraved sterling silver inlays. Its frame is mirror polished 440-B steel with carved the sterling silver overlays. This knife features Alex Gev's new locking mechanism called the "Lever Release". There is a sketch displaying how the locking mechanism works.
Alex Gev was born in the town of Kazanlak - which is the center of the Bulgarian arms industry. He produces fine sole authorship knives for the "Grifon" company. Alex Gev is a member of "The Fellowship of the Masters of Arts and Crafts in Bulgaria" and "National Chamber of Crafts".
